without further ado;

the “window wall”/view from the door. the door to my balcony is behind the black curtain.

the opposite wall. I used old curtains to cover it up, it was made out of white panels and looked horrible.

couch. unrelated playboy pillow is unrelated, but I don’t mind.

where I spend most of my time home, hahah.

I’ve had this frame for ages but only got it on the wall today, it’s on the wall next to the computer table. the art is by imai kira.

TV and my gaming console family (sans the DS).

sewing table.

mirror and dressform.

makeup & hair stuff, bags.

closeup.

bookshelf.

my dolls and their eternal chess game, hah.

jewelry & some of my accessories.

wig head (modeling my mini hat and rather beaten up sebastian wig).

stuff on top of the bookshelf. including my horrible graduation picture from 2008, hahah.

bed.

my bedside table that I painted red and black (it used to be white). the frog was knit by my mom, I dunno if it is visible but there’s a skull on it.

wow, this picture turned out horrible. anyway, the black roses on my windowsill.
…my room makes me seem much more gothic than I actually am, hahah. I’m not complaining though, I love gothic decor. oh and thanks for 1200+ pageviews! this blog hasn’t even been up for more than what, two weeks, so I am pleasantly surprised! thanks to the few commenters, too. when I started this I thought no one would bother reading this since everyone is on livejournal, but I guess I was wrong, hahah.

Dayum- your room is stylish! ( haha especially compared with the apartment I’m moving into…) I guess I can’t complain because my parents are helping me pay for the furniture, but it has no style to it at all :’D

Personally speaking, I don’t comment much when I don’t have anything really “necessary” or not completely useless to add. ‘m guessing more people end up like that.
Comments aside, I take great pleasure on your posts and very frequently open a tab to see if there is you have posted something up <:

@ carbonidiot – yeah, most of my furniture is free/secondhand/bought by my parents. thankfully most of it isn’t that bad, but my sewing table for example has red and pink flowers on it… which is why I promptly covered it XD
@ orube – yeah, I am like that too. and for me it’s somehow easier to comment on LJ, I lurk a million blogs but hardly ever comment on any of them, hahah. and thanks!

How big is the pictureframe with the Imai Kira print? I really like it and I was just wondering if something similiar would work on one of my current art projects.

Room posts like this really make me want to redecorate my own room. Too bad I live in dormitories.

Your room looks great! This post makes me want to think more about the decor of my room-to-be, but I doubt its altering possibilities – a dormitory room, you see.
I have been lurking for some time here without commenting, but quite often check back here for updates. I really like your style. :D

@ mademoiselle parapluie – if I recall correctly, it’s 40×50 cm… the paper size is A2 anyway, since I had to print four A4s to fill it up.
@ kuroi – aww, surely you can redecorate to some extent in dorms too? my landlord forbids tape/blutack on walls so I have to deal with white walls, but there are always ways around the limitations… hahah.
@ ainariel – ahh, I feel for you guys in dorms. I can’t imagine myself living in one, I love my flat all too much. I dunno how I’ll be able to deal if I ever have to move in a dorm :| and thank you!

[...] and revamped my room today, and it’s so much better now. (Pictures of the old arrangement in this post.) I kind of love it this way, it could of course be a bit better still, but I can’t afford [...]
