book
Today I found treasure (”The big book of medicine”, 1967 edition) and the Holy Grail.

The beer isn’t anything special, but damn I needed that bottle.

Anyway, back to my new book! I have always had a weird fascination for medical things. When I was a kid I always secretly read the medical books my family and relatives had, over and over again. I’ve always been morbidly curious about disease, disfigurations and other weird things that happen to humans. Finding this book for only 3€ at a thrift store was amazing; it’s full of old, not-exactly-PC terminology, has pictures of disfigurations and suicide victims, you know the drill. It has about 1000 pages and I am very much planning to eventually read at least most of it.
What makes my obsession with this stuff funny is that I am actually pretty terrified of doctors, myself.

Some pictures of the book for you!

This looks just a slight bit homoerotic to me.

Just plain Awesome! :3

fucking awesome book. I need one aswell :D

Homoerotic is win LOL

My cousin has an old medicine book at her house too, when we where kids we loved to read it ^^ because there was such weird shit there XD even thought it scared our little sisters, then our parents found out and no more funny book :/

That book is awesome! I’m quite jealous. The only vintage medical book I have is one on how to dissect frogs. Which is pretty lame.
