Redid an old photo from six-ish years ago.

Lolwut. Found while desperately ebaying for a new school bag. Both of mine are deteriorating fast. D: Ladies plx halp I need a new shoulder bag that can fit school crap inside it and works with both frilly shit and unfrilly shit. Mission impossible? I am still mourning over that Lip Service steampunk bag that I missed, ngl.

It’s not on their Taobao since apparently it’s still summer season for them, but apparently you can email them to order off-season stuff? Hahah, I am so clueless, if someone knows how to got about it please share~ I’d rather order it now partially because I actually have some extra cash and partially because it will take a while to make & ship anyway and it’d probably be cold over here by the time I get it on my filthy little hands anyway.

So university started this week and Idk, I guess it seems pretty kewl so far. Hard to say much since I’ve only had 4 days and we haven’t actually started studying yet. At least the food is good! A welcome change to the microwave crap I had most of the summer… The downside to school starting again is the fact I had to turn my sleep pattern completely around, I used to go to bed at about 6-8am all summer and now I have to wake up at 7am. Not pleasant, but I guess it’s just good to sleep like a normal person for a change. I just feel like a zombie all the time because of it, I hope my brain would adjust to it soon.

HEE~ I’ve been meaning to get my snakebites back since last autumn but didn’t get it done more than halfway until today, hahah. Next up I have my free piercing (the piercer has a “take five, get one free” bonus card lul) aka I am getting my industrial back. Don’t wanna waste 75€ on one again in case it ends up being a bitch like the last one. :6 After that I am gonna get my brow done for the third (…) time~ But those will have to wait until autumn, I don’t want sweaty hair in the industrial and I don’t want to waste the free piercing by getting a cheapo brow piercing.

I went and bought Fallout 3 for the ‘box yesterday after getting tired of trying to get the Cider ports to work and it’s… fine I guess, lol. It doesn’t really live up to the hype imho+I suck at FPS games anyway but yeah it’s fun. Speaking of the ‘box I still haven’t finished Brütal Legend OR FFXIII OR Eternal Sonata. :c FFXIII is just painful and idk what happened with Brütal Legend, I think I got stuck on some task and ragequit. Eternal sonata I almost finished but my attention span got too short for it, hahah.

Other than that, not much really. It’s still way too hot to wear anything nice and I am still too lazy to take outfit shots, mostly because if I end up wearing anything nice I just rip it off myself as soon as I get home because I am more often than not damn near ot getting a heatstroke by that point. Waiting for the cooler weathers, dear god.

Hey hey /blog/! I haven’t been busy at all, I’ve just simply been too lazy to update or even look at the pending comments in the past… month or so, hahah. I still haven’t managed to find a job for the summer and looking for one now would be kind of pointless since I got accepted to school (bachelor’s in digital media, oh yeah~) starting next fall. It doesn’t start until the last week of August, but finding a job that only lasts for a month is kind of hopeless. God knows I’ve tried, but… oh well. First summer I have spent doing nothing of importance since I was 15, I don’t really mind that much even if it means I am broke!

I picked up my dread project that I started last year’s spring again because I got bored with my hair (again) and didn’t really know what to do with it. Not finished with them yet but it’s gonna look something along these lines:

Still need about 2X more of them, though. And I know everyone hates dreads with frilly shit, heh. Greys, silver whites, gey/blacks and solid blacks.

In other news, not much. It’s too hot to wear anything nice (I nearly died in my frillz the other day, didn’t even take an outfit shot because I just ripped them off myself as soon as I got back home, hahah) so I have been looking lame as hell recently. I’ve gone to a cruise and a con and done some other stuff in the past month but I am too lazy to type up about them, they’re not very interesting anyways~

Bought some stuff sometime last month when I visited the China Center in Kouvola:

Vest and pants for a total of 6€. They’re pretty poor quality and the pants ar ean awkward lenght, but hey, 6€.

Lolkstar vest. I’ve wanted a biker vest since I was about 14 (this is lame because I still dress exactly like I did 6 years ago) and it’s soft and warm :3 Not that I really need the “warm” aspect right now, hahah. Also, I noticed I am smoking in about 90% of my outfit shots, lmao. I’m not that bad of a smoker, really, it’s just killing two birds with one stone since I always take them on the balcony anyway.

That’s that. Still trying to figure out something smart to do for the rest of my “vacation”, I’d sew since I want new frillz but I can’t really afford the fabrics I want. No, really. I might have to move before school starts, too, so I have to keep that in mind too and not spend everything I have. Which kind of sucks. :D

Over and out for now, who knows when I’ll be arsed to update again. Not even gonna try and promise to not have a month-long cap between entries again.

PS. I need opinions on whether or not people think pants like this (ignoring the lame skirt thinger) look like bloomers. Because I kind of want to make a pair but I also think they kind of do, and I don’t want to look like I am walking around in bloomers, lolol.

So, summer kind of creeped up… To celebrate my first official day off school (and unfortunately, work, because I couldn’t find any decent job for the summer. Still looking!) I wore some frillz, went out to eat and got drunk in the process.

I don’t get why I must wear rocking horses even if I know I am going to get drunk, drunk walking in them is no easy task. (The stains on the other shoe are from the last time I was dicking around drunk while wearing them and facepavemented. :P) And yeah, my hair is looking like crap. Working on it.

On a semi-hiatus from Megaten, been playing too much of it already. If anyone has a cool casual-ish MMO to suggest for me to play while I get my Megaten motivation back, please do. And no WoW clones, goddamnit. Spellborn is pretty cool but it’s also empty, I played for a few hours and only saw three other players near the starting area. I still play S4 but I can’t stand it for longer periods of time. So yeah. Tried EVE, FEZ, Allods, Aika and NeoSteam already and they were all pretty lame. EVE wasn’t lame but just wasn’t for me. Waiting for FFXIV and WoD Online. :D

I have an entrance exam coming up next week and hopefully a job interview at some point. Got a sewing project to do as well, and cleaning my room is starting to be a #1 priority. I’m kind of liking just idling around but I think it’s gonna get really fucking boring in a few weeks if I can’t find a summer job. :F I also can’t afford to go through with my cosplay plans for this summer, so I’ll just have to do something lamer instead if I end up doing anything. Fail.

I haven’t been bothering to take outfit shots either since they’ve been lazy and boring for the most part, and I still haven’t gotten the frillz out of my closet because I can’t seem to find anywhere to wear them. And wearing them for the hell of it takes too much effort.

I went to the Graveyard party on the 1st of this month, and while the rest of the performances weren’t very good, Hanzel und Gretyl was FUKKEN ÜBER.

Bad cell phone photos because I don’t drag my cameras to events where I know I am gonna be rather drunk. This was one event where I didn’t wear lazy stuff to, but alas, I was too intoxicated to realise I should have taken a picture. It was just h.Naoto and a pair of lederhosen though so nothing that special, hahah.

I was supposed to finish an art piece for school for today but I didn’t get it done in time (I got it halfway done though, which annoys me) so I am just kind of slacking off at the moment. I was supposed to work on it this last Sunday, but I felt so horrible that I didn’t get much done that day. I was on a Tallinn cruise on Saturday and somehow managed to faint on the ship, which aside from being embarrassing as hell and kind of WTF because I have never fainted before, rendered my head feeling kind of weird for Sunday too. Fail. Now I am scared it will happen again, oh well… kind of a wake up call for me, my mindset about eating and sleeping is mostly “lol do I have to?” and I guess that after three or so days of not eating/sleeping well it’s no wonder a person will just pass out for the heck of it. :P

What else what else. Not much I guess. Oh wait no, there was something. I want to have a drunk!loli meetup, but iirc you can’t advertise meets on Terrible if alcohols are involved. Someone brainstorm this with me please. I want beer with my frillz, not cake.

Hello.

Have a generic camwhore photo to make up for the fact I haven’t manage to update this in two weeks again, hahah. Somehow I always manage…

Truthfully told I have been pretty busy with the advance tasks for school applications lately (or more so procrastinating with said advance tasks). Today I dropped them off so basically I am free to… procrastinate more from now on. They did make me a bit stressed so I am glad they are over with, however there are other things making me stressed as hell right now, such as the fact that I am completely and utterly broke. And by this I mean that I have about 4€ in total in my possession (in coins + two bank accounts) and had to loan 20€ from my flatmate today, so basically I am at -16€ as of now. Not all that cool. On times like these I miss having a job and being able to spend hundreds of euros on clothes monthly, no matter how shitty the job itself was. Oh well oh well!

What else have I been doing? I can’t even recall. I went to Mindcore a while back but unfortunately I was sick and couldn’t stomp for more than ten minutes in a row without feeling like dying. Could have been a good party otherwise, hahah. Something good came out of it though, because someone had scattered flyers for the next Graveyard party around and I learned that Hanzel und Gretyl will be there. And no, I had not known prior to that because every time I heard someone mention the event they had just been all “Durr Diary of dreams hurr”. I am so going, I have wanted to see that band for years now and I’ve heard they’re pretty epic live! If I get sick again I am gonna do something drastic, I always seem to get sick when there’s an event I am supposed to go to. You should have seen my 16-year-old jrawk fantard self QQ when I got a major fever when Dir en grey had their first club gig in Finland… Hahah.

Last weekend I went to see the M.C. Escher exhibition at Amos Anderson Art Museum with my girlfriend and it was awesome. I am bad (and frankly, too lazy to) at doing reviews of any kind, but I’m just gonna say that I enjoyed seeing all those works live and felt dumb when I realised that so many things I hadn’t known were by him were, in fact, by him, hahah. Highly recommended even though it was kind of a small exhibition, do yourself a favor and go see yourself some truly unique art if you’re around Helsinki.

Over and out for now since my gaming senses are tingling. In related news I picked up FFXIII again (I bought it on its release day and played it for ten hours before I decided I was disappointed at it) and it’s actually getting a lot better, I am glad I found the will to fight through the boring as hell first 15 hours. In chapter 9 right now, it’s supposedly getting a lot better at chapter 11 which isn’t more than a few hours away. I am still kind of disappointed at it, but it’s not even nearly as disappointing as I initially thought. That was one hell of a slow start for a game though. Anyway, gonna log onto Megaten now, been neglecting it for a few days now. See you hopefully before another two weeks have passed!

Been kinda busy lately with the advance tasks for school applications, been sick and whatnot, and still completely uninspired about writing. Aside from taking some pictures for the aforementioned advance tasks, until today I hadn’t even touched my camera since my last post here. Really really. I thought I had but when I went to dig up unposted pictures from my Bridge just now I noticed I simply haven’t taken any kind of photos in two weeks. What’s wrong with me?

I wouldn’t even have touched it today either hadn’t it been for school, in photojournalism class we had an assignment called “An hour” and had to come up with an idea and a method for a series. Mine was to go and dick around at a metro station for an hour and take photos of the clock at 15 minute intervals, which I did but won’t post here because there were too many photos, just documenting what happens there during that time. No one ever spends an hour at a metro station, everyone just passes by it while they’re on their way somewhere, it was kind of interesting to just stick around there for so long, hahah,

Anyway a few select photos from the huge batch I shot:

I went to see a movie last night, I bet you’ll never guess which one. This is what I wore:

Is it just me, or does everyone else experience this weird hat phenomenon as well? I mean I could wear the rest of this outfit and feel absolutely comfortable with it any day, but as soon as I put a hat on, be it a top hat of any size, or just any other kind of a hat, I start feeling like everyone is staring at me – which is kind of ridiculous, since they are gonna be staring at me anyway, hat or no hat. There’s just something about those pesky little hats, I dunno.

In any case, I’d rate the movie adaptation of Alice an 8 out of 10. It was visually stunning as expected (it was also the first 3D movie I ever saw, it was weird at first but as soon as I got used to it, it was so much more awesome than regular movies) but as a Burton, Burton x Depp and Alice fan I really expected something more. Oh well, I guess it could have been worse…

I come with a few thrifted findings again!

Yesterday my parents came to Helsinki again because they wanted to go thrift shopping. I didn’t find much anything, but I did find these generic punk jeans from UFF for 9€ and a long military-esque jacket from a Fida for 10€.

Today me and mine went to check out what Valtteri had to offer this fine Saturday and I came back with an EOS 500N just because it was cheap and I have been wanting a film SLR for a while. The pillow was from yesterday’s UFF trip as well, 1,50€ if I recall correctly.

I didn’t get a good shot of the military jacket thing I bought, so here’s a mugshot with it instead.
